Bureau of Foreign Trade
The Bureau of Foreign Trade, under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, R.O.C, is a governmental department that deals with international trade between Taiwan and other countries.
Since 1999, the Bureau of Foreign Trade has launched a project to subsidize and encourage international meetings and exhibitions to be held in Taiwan. The project not only boosts the development of the industry of international meetings and exhibitions in Taiwan, but also brings marginal benifits to other related industries.
ACTION has been included in this project, and has benefited greatly from their funding programme.
Jade Emperor Temple
The temple of Jade Emperor built according to traditional scheme is great and splendid, solemn and majestic. It is situated in the Sanmin district, Kaohsiung. In addition, it has lots of disciples and famous for its divine origin. According to the history, the temple of Jade Emperor was originally located in the Gushan district, Kaohsiung. It was established by the family of HSU. Then, in a serious war, the Gushan district was destroyed severely but only the HSU family avoid the attack safely.

Origins
Professor Meng-Chih Lee, the founding chair of “The Institute of Medicine and Health Care for Adolescents in Taiwan”, had dedicated years to the research of adolescent health care. He founded “Lee Foundation on Adolescent Medicine and Health” in his mother’s name. Ms. Te-Ping Lee, she often reminded her own children to help other children and adolescents. “They can serve society in the long run” she said. Lady Lee, when diagnosed with Alzheimer in her late years, made a will that would leave her lifelong savings to be used to help adolescents.

康達生命科學 "台灣醫龍獎學金"
相較國外歐美大廠那種幾百萬美金的資金挹注，台灣在經濟規模上無法匹敵，並深深感受到台灣金源的不足。但是，我們還有一項優勢，相信這些會念書會思考優秀學子的腦袋絕對不輸歐美，所以期望未來各位可以投入醫界或藥界，為台灣人民的健康盡一份心力。亦期許各位學子多去思考我們康達辦這個獎學金的宗旨，課本上的知識，只是遵循前人的路，重要的是懷著一顆人本的心，用知識力量回饋社會，並當有能力時記得時時幫助他人。
